How It Works
From network discovery to real time indexing — the technology behind the fastest Minecraft server scanner on the block.
Process
The Scanning Process
Network Discovery
We use intelligent scanning to discover Minecraft servers across the internet. Our probes connect to known and newly found IP ranges to identify active server ports.
Status Query
Once a server is found, we send a Minecraft protocol handshake to gather public server information: player count, version, description, Forge mods (supported versions), and more.
Data Indexing
All publicly available server data is indexed and stored in our database, maintaining a current snapshot of the server landscape.
Continuous Monitoring
Servers are re-scanned at regular intervals to keep our index current. We track player activity and server metadata changes.
Frequency
How Often We Update
| Server Type | Scan Frequency |
|---|---|
| Active servers | Every 5-10 minutes |
| Popular servers | Every 5-10 minutes |
| Offline servers | 3 times per day |
| Full network scan | Continuous rotation |
